These are not the old chuck taylors from back in the day

I used to wear these when i was a kid in the 50s and the last pair i remember having was sometime in the 80s about which time i sailed south to a latitude where the butter melts and the honey dont crystalize and i pretty much quit wearing shoes

I dont like my toes to be crunched together and the ones that i have are the same size as these and i cant imagine them being any smaller and still being comfortable

When i first put these on i was afraid that they were going to be too big

When i stood on them and pressed the toe with my thumb there was a little less than than the width of my thumb turned sideways between the end and my toe
