Pros & Cons
Pros

Highlights
Quality
I learned so much and i am still not finished with the book.
If you subscribe to cook's illustrated, you can expect the same high quality in this book that you get with the magazine.
If you are looking for creative ingredient combinations, help with the latest and greatest appliances, or looking for that wow!
But, if you're familiar with the magazine's format you'll love the cookbook!
Price
This is one of the top 5 cook books i have ever purchased and the price is unbelievably a steal.
Packaging/appearance
Cook's illustrated, atk, and cook's country are notorious for repackaging recipes and presenting them as a new cookbook.
Competitiveness
As bona fide foodies, my wife and i have a library of nearly 500 cookbooks, most of them ethnic cuisines from around the world.
It's one of the many america's test kitchen volumes.
