The bungees hold the blinds perfectly in the wind. It rolls down and up easily and smoothly with the crank.

Because the shade is so thin, the slightest breeze sends it flying. If your window is in direct low-angle afternoon or morning sun i suggest the 95% sun blocking shades that coolaroo also sells.
