Pros

I really like it and it lives up to what it advertises. Just unrolling it and resolving easily fixed that.

These shades are great for blocking out the bright sun. The heat and brightness from the sun are shaded just perfect. I can see my 450 nit brightness ms surface pro with no problems.

This shade is perfect for our covered patio. Looks great on our red, white and blue themed porch. Porch posts, railing, ceiling are all vinyl.

They look great, compact design and look custom made. The measurements are exact. They are very durable. Some reviewers debate the size of this size.

Before installing, you need to determine how the shade brackets will fit. It installs easily and works well as a privacy screen.

Cons

A shade this long needs a longer wand. Instructions are incorrect and show the clutch on the right side with its round side facing front, which is different from the actual product. First bought this used like new, delivered missing all the hardware.

I called coolaroo directly and they sent me the parts via priority mail.

If this is how they're shipped i bet 9 out of 10 arrive damaged.

Still, this makes me a bit cautious to have another one shipped.

I ordered one that was discounted because the box was a bit bashed in.

Was pleasantly surprised to buy the "damaged" item and have it be perfect.

Competitiveness

For the price and compare to some of the ridiculously priced competitors this shade is worth the money.

The fabric is resisting uv better than most in nevada's relentless uv exposure.
