Pros

Frame is black, shade is nice woven material not cheap polyester. It consists of 4 metal legs, that suspend a canopy that retracts like a curtain. The canopy is still in good condition.

It looks beautiful and my neighbors all want one! It really transforms my yard and i enjoy it. Note the price here on amazon fluctuates.

Like the locking feature on shade. The shade is really neat as it slides open or closed. A rubber mallet is necessary.

Cons

The material deteriorated in the sunlight despite the uv rating mentioned in the product. This makes this pergola no bargain. Most of the top rails were dented, pretty bad.

Returned it for a one-to-one swap. Lasted barely 4 months.
