The first one that i bought lasted 4 12 years with no issue but i randomly unplugged the unit from the router about a month ago and since then there’s a small but very annoying rattle that comes from the fan when the unit runs

Remember my is from 2014 so 6 years of use just imagine the new ones and what they can do with a brand new motor and fans

I have found it to not keep my laptop completely cool when under heavy load however this might not be the devices fault

Usb cable is hardwired to unit instead of plug in so i am limited to length of cord and if i have a problem with the cord i cant replace it will render unit useless

Since i got this it has gone down to around 90c and the keyboard is not too hot to even touch now

This doesnt really help considering that its suppose to be a quiet cooling fan so obviously it wouldnt be that powerful
