Pros & Cons
Pros
The 24 pin motherboard connector fits just nice. Has all of the connections necessary for hard drives and other hardware, as well as a 6 pin pci-e connector. Never had an issue with any of the previous psu's.
It is quieter than the old 220 watt power supply that came with my desktop. The fan is bigger as well, which circulates more are inside my case. Very solid and stable, no doa or quick burn-outs.
Cons
I have to communicate with someone who is hard for me to understand and while trying to do the on-line instant messaging thing ; there is a very long wait and it finally will ask you if you want to send them a message! Terrible support for a mediocre ... Read More
Cooler master p/s has a 4-pin floppy connector, but it does not. Lasted 2 years then began to randomly shut down pc. After getting frustrated with the boards i let the pc sit in the closet and purchased a used lenovo.
The buzzing happens when connected to any outlet, even isolated from any sound device. Runs very quietly. Must be a bearing problem. This psu is too annoying to keep.
Highlights
Quality
Installation was easy, plenty of power, completely satisfied!
Main cord is pretty thick but overall i’m satisfied.
I searched for a higher quality power supply with a higher current capacity and decided upon the cooler master elite power 460 watt supply.
Price
While its only 600w, im able to run everything with no issues, wish it was modular but the price is worth it.
Competitiveness
I installed this 500w psu in a rosewill micro atx case with an asus h-570m mobo.
