Pros & Cons
Pros
The cools exceptionally well. Cooling the processor and ram at the same time. Shows almost 20 degrees cooler at idle with all green during gaming.
Height clears my corsair ballistix high ram modules. It is good that my case had about 2 inch space between motherboard and case wall to accommodate fan because it was bigger that my mini-itx motherboard no matter how i turn it. This one allows mounti... Read More
Fan is really quite. Kind of a wiggle here and wiggle there. Thoughtful consideration has to be given to its size and weight, as well as proper placement.
Vast improvement, worth every penny. It is inexpensive and it works. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
Cons
This cooler is not deisgned to handle high heat output. This would suffice but not for any heavy loads. Cooler master customer support is a little less than good. Their web site states customer satisfaction if the first goal.
Highlights
Quality
I am totally pleased with this cooler.
I don’t do any gaming or mining (for now) so i probably didn’t need to upgrade my stock cooler that came with the i5-8400 cpu.
I'm not too impressed with the mounting hardware.
I got the speed back i had lost with the overheating.
Packaging/appearance

Competitiveness
The fan itself can be swapped out with a compatiable fan, but i think the stock fan that is placed on this is perfectly fine.
If you need a good cooler for your mosfets, vrm's, capacitors, and ram, this will do it with enough room to fit in smaller cases.
(replaced a corsair h60 aio cooler that may have died on me.

I noticed this model hyper rr212er2 has a life expectancy of 160000 hours over the typical 40000 hours of other models from the same company
