Pros

The g100m runs 5-10 degrees cooler, maxing out at about 58 deg c. Fit just fine on my old workhorse i7 4790 on an asus z-97a. Works with my dell backplate, without removing the backplate but with a cable adapter to connect the cable with its power pin... Read More

Rgb is no fancy rainbow colors. One color at a time with different modes like pulse, breathing, strobing and brightness levels. Uses the controller to change the color manually.

Cooler does a satisfactory job of keeping the cpu cool. The g100m produces a little more noise but understandable. Much quieter and feels more powerful. The cooler does the job and very silently too.

Product works great! Otherwise great. With that said, id totally recommend. Over a good buy for me.

Cons

The instructions for the installation of this fan are non-existent. It's one of the most frustratingly difficult coolers i've ever installed. With rgb on, this fan has noticeable wobble to it.

The problem is with the mounting hardware for the back of the motherboard. The backplate is too soft and can crush components on the back side of the motherboard. The msi x570s also doesn't work with the amd ryzen 7 chip.

I used arctic mx4 along with this and now the idle temps with the same programs open are in the mid 30's!

Packaging/appearance

I didn't have any zip ties at work and just wanted to good the rgb cable out of the way.

The stock dell motherboard does not have any rgb headers so this was just moved out of the way.
