Pros & Cons
Pros
Even though this cooler is sporting a ultra premium price tag, it is worthy of consideration. It works great and looks *.
Masterair maker 8 is very silent and efficient, keeping my 8600k always below 70 celsius with all cores working 100% in my very hot city. Keeps my cpu cool at 33 degrees celsius. This cpu air cooler is super, even it is pricey.
This cooler is massive. However, it really surprises me when i took it out from box, it is gigantic! It's extremely quiet for how big and fast the fans are. It is rather big so be sure to consider how you are building your system.
Even comes with translucent & matte black aluminum front plates, which is nice. Nice lighting effect3.
Cons
Most ram is that high and this was on a full size board. Even without the fans mounted, the plastic housing around the cooling fins blocks my first ram slot. Worst 125 bucks of my life.
Highlights
Quality
I really like the fan setup with the push /pull.
High quality and can't even hear it running and it keeps my i9 9600k at 34° centigrade.
Look up your own facts before you believe a review, because 9-10 they didn’t use the product correctly or even use it at all.
However, the fans are quite a pain to install, along with the wires for them are very short.
Price
This cooler is worth the price for me.
Price is considerably “premium” for air cooling.
Shipping
Long story short 2 day free shipping turned into 5 day shipping.
But i wanted the free 2 day shipping.
It's extremely quiet for how big and fast the fans are.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is wonderful, the price is not bad, the product is top-notch, and my cpu is shivering.
3 words, in order: waiting, repackaging, and fees (for restocking).
Competitiveness
A little expensive compared to the closest competition but it has a great look.
Simple to install on an intel lga-2011 socket.
Barely fits in my lian li armorsuit pc-p50r case.
I7-6800k overclocked to 4ghz never reaches over 50c under stress-testing and gaming.
