Pros & Cons
Pros
This version has a high quality feel slightly textured surface. I relaxed claw/fingertip this incredibly comfortably. My only grievance is that it feels a little cheap.
When it comes to performance, this mouse is a champ. I feel no noticeable lag. Most of the time my mouse of choice is something higher end, i play fps games.
Value for getting optical switches and a top performing mouse at this price point is unbeatable. The clicks are good, not the best, but for optical switches, they are pretty tactile and responsive. The side * are well designed and leave plenty of spac... Read More
In my opinion, this outranks the viper mini in wireless connectivity.
When switching between devices using the slider on the bottom, it connects almost instantly. The saving grace of this mouse, and the reason i'm keeping it, is the bluetooth connectivity.
Cons
I'm not sure if i just got unlucky with my unit, but the scroll wheel also doesn't feel very snappy compared to other mice i've used. Feel clicky and firm, but scroll wheel feels mushy and it is failing (jumping up and down) after just 3-4 months of u... Read More
Highlights
Quality
It feels durable and is high quality so i highly recommend .
The optical switches are excellent and make this mouse very good for gaming or even everyday usage.
The left/rigth buttons feel cheap and are way too easy to press, with little feedback/resistance.
It's not rechargeable, it's got a aa battery, and you replace it when it dies.
Price
Overall, a great mouse for $20 or so!
Cooler master has been my go-to for a while, when it comes to inexpensive gear when i need something now, right this second.
It's a $25 mouse, i'm not sure what you could expect, but it probably exceeds your lowest of expectations.
Also the price on this one beats the others (if on sale, definitely).
Competitiveness
Mm712 is reasonable price, it feels pretty same as mm710 which was my favorite mouse.
I've used the g305 wireless, and the razer orochi as comparisons.
I wish more brands would utilize the forward sensor but for now this mouse is king.
