Pros
Surface laptop is normally hot while charging (the bottom and you can feel heat in the keyboard area) but on day 2 the laptop stayed really cool. Cooling performance outweighs the shortcomings of this fan.
Cons
Cooler is solid and well made but vibration forced me to return. The legs are very flimsy and keep flipping closed. The metal mesh of the cooling pad touches the blade and it gives me weird noise.
This product is advertised as extra slim and quiet. It's very loud for a laptop cooler considering the size of the fan. The air flow it provides is minimal, maybe comparable to a big desktop pc.
I realize this product is only $20 but it barely works. Very dispointed, totally waste of money.

This should provide greater longevity for a great price.
This is a fantastic buy for the price and quality.
Made a massive difference in my laptop's heat at a relatively cheap price.
For the price, this provides so much including a usb-c female for the port it occupies!

I had purchased a similar price point cooling pad which started to give me issues with the power.

Problems i do have it though when it first came out of the package it had a very chemical like smell but that went away as soon as i used it another issue is the cable length its probably a good 7 inches but that problem can be resolved very easily

If you got the money to do it and you know you will be using your laptop a lot i highly advise you get yourself one of these
