Cons
The hyper 212 is not the same as the hyper 212 black edition. This mounting design * and does not work with my lga1200 board even though it says it does. In the product description, it states that it is compatible with the am3+ socket but it's not.
Plenty of contradicting information on the product website. Such is the downside of amazon not vetting the inventory they house. I have no earthly clue what they'd be qualified to do.
The instructions are in pictogram format but are lacking and it's kind of a pain to install. Was also missing attachment parts. I contacted tech support explaining my issue, all i was told to do is check the installation guide again.

Straightforward, good instructions, secure physical mount, low noise, good cooling.
Pro: efficient cooling with 4 copper tubes i recently upgraded to this cpu air cooler, and i’m impressed with its performance.
After nearly 7 years, in the summer of 2022, the fan suddenly quit and my cpu overheated.
It greatly outperfomed several cheap liquid coolers.
Price
For 30ish $ this was such a great purchase.
Inexpensive and very effective at cooling my cpu!
The cost is so cheap and it’s very effective!
Best bang for your buck at only $29 and it comes with cryofuse thermal paste!
Competitiveness
It's quiet and in direct comparison to the stock unit it replaced it dominates.
The difference is in the name, one is "black" and the am3+ is "black edition" but both say they will work in the product description.

The performance improvement is significant before the temperature routinely reached 90c during gaming sessions now it stays consistently below 80c
