Quality
I then decided to be more aggressive about it and i decided to go crazy with the spatula it came with.
I've owned a handful of tubes of it and performance after a few months starts to degrade with the paste drying up like dried to... Read More
Somebody said the product 'dried too quickly' which is just silly.
I applied a massive blob of it and went to town with the spatula.
Price
Great deal and the price is really good considering the quantity.
I used this with noctua d15s instead of stock noctua paste, based on professional reviews it's better.
Packaging/appearance
The paste seems to stick just fine to plastic ic packaging and both copper and aluminum heatsinks.

First off, the label does only state 'maker' not 'maker nano' but don't worry, the box correctly states the paste had nanoparti... Read More
Was able to repaste entire laptop and still have plenty of left over.
Competitiveness
Compared to the noctua thermal paste and also mx-4, this lowered my temps by almost 7 degrees centigrade under load.
Works as expected my temperatures are much lower compared to a generic brand thermal paste.
I have had a h100i v2 on my 4790k that is overclocked to 4.
Decided to replace the preapplied thermal paste from a thermaltake water 3.

I havent taken such good data with the x230 but considering i was using it up to 100c for extended periods with the original thermal paste doing stuff it shouldnt be able to handle all i noticed was a drop in steady temperature from 100c to about 87c at full load for long periods if i remember correctly

I also used this paste to heatsink many large chips on various hardware for example the fpga microcontroller and lms7002 sdr frontend chip on a limesdr board reducing idle temperatures from 4050c to 30c and similar reduction under load lowering the thermal noise floor
