Pros

Hat is lightweight and seems to breathe well! He's had several scalp melanomas surgically removed. This hat is a little more casual than the others but looks pretty good.

The material is very thin and flimsy but holds its shape well. It looks washable, haven't tried that yet. It fits great and can be packed in a suitcase.

The brim is wide and looks it. After ironing the brim, it is ok again. The wide brim definitely keeps off the sunrays, but in malta july i sweat a lot.

Cons

The photos are very deceiving in regard to how it looks and performs. The hat is perfectly misshapen, it's not even wearable. The size chart is not accurate for the xxl size.

Packaging/appearance

We packed it into the suitcase for our vacation on both ways and it came out still like new.

Given it was sold as packable or crushable i ordered it anyways given coolibar has a great reputation.

It holds its shape even being packed and unpacked in my suitcase several times.

Like others, i was dismayed when this hat arrived, thinking it would be blocked as shown.

Competitiveness

I ordered both the med and large, as i am fight in the middle range, the med fit much better.
