Pros
The foam topper makes you hot, but mattress cover is great because the bed isn't hot anymore. This protector is excellent -- zero noise, no smell, no temperature problems. It is heavy but also feels cushiony when laying on it in bed.

This product claims to be waterproof but it’s not. Polyurethane liner is as gossamer as kleenex.

This is a very good quality mattress protector.
We’ve purchased way too many mattress covers all to be ruined in the wash, not actually waterproof, or crinkly/uncomfortable.
It doesn't get hot like a lot of plastic mattress protectors.

I wouldnt say that it keeps us cool my wife still has hot flashes at night but i can sat that it is not making us hotter
