These only *look* like buckles. Shorted me a 2” buckle. One side of buckle must be sewn or tied. The other side has a sort of 'locking loop' but it does not hold the strap from loosening.

Ended up with a chewed collar removed the stitches from the clip it was actually very easy put in the new buckle and sewed it back up
