Pros & Cons
Pros
Very well made. Absolutely thrilled. It looks exactly as pictured. Very pleased with the product.
The copper is very beautiful and i haven't had an issue with discoloration using a low-medium flame. My only complaint is that the knob on the lid is hard to grab and the lid fits loosely so it easily falls off when you are emptying the pot.
Cons
This tea kettle is not a single piece. The bottom is pressed in and the soldered with a very cheap solder. The brim on the top is uneven (paint wise) and looks horrible. An expensive paperweight.
If your going to actually use it, it takes forever to boil water. It also takes very long to heat up compared to our old kettle. Will be returning. Btw - the stovetop is not induction.
Highlights
Quality
The quality is excellent, shines like a new copper penny and hasn't taken on the patina that will eventually come with more use.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality copper kettle.
