You still use the same password to log on

You can also use it as a bridge where it takes the original signal and emits a new signal with its own password so i guess you could have a guest log in but they wouldnt have access to the home network

The only thing that was a drawback was that when plugged into a wall socket it seems to sag a little and if it gets knocked it would be easy to disconnect and would need to link it back to the router again
