Packaging/appearance
It worked there, and the signal was moderate from the router but full strength from the n300.
The n300 was up and running in 30 seconds flat, no exaggeration.
Competitiveness
I've replaced the similar tp-link unit that i had been using.
I'd managed to destroy the tp-link unit by having the house main electricity trip.

So i bought the n300 hoping it would collect the weak signals in the leastcatered for part of the howuse which is also the furthest point away from the router and other powerline wifi outlets

I thought that maybe i could scrape together just enough of the nearest wifi powerline outlets output for a weak and bothersome signal at the n300

Moving it away from the router i then took it to another room farther away from the router and not near a wifi powerline outlet

I then with great excitement and anticipation took it to the worst wifi affected part of the house

Not expecting that much really of course because this is a wifi dead area after all and only a powerline wifi outlet would be of any use here but i am too miserly to obtain yet more units and they are notoriously difficult to setup and laborious to administrate initially
