Pros

The box it came in is small and compact. A wine bottle fits in my fridge easier without the ball. The corkscrew is well made and has a solid feel in the hands.

The straight end is better, for it drills straight down into the cork. It beats trying to shove it back in and ending up with bits of cork in the wine.

Cons

Worst part of this wine opener is the spiral or worm that is supposed to thread into the cork. The pointed end wound up in the garbage disposal, jammed and need a plumber to remove it.

Fail proof actually but mine is bent and i can feel it every time i open a bottle.

The opener is heavy and solid metal: unable to distinguish from steel and aluminum, as it is uniform shiny metallic silver color.

Price was $8+, which is great value for the price.

I got it on sale for 11$ very good!
