Quality

These fans are quiet, as the name suggests, and are high-quality, as i've come corsair products to be.

Pros:- ultra quiet, silent at idle- excellent fan for the corsair h100 (or probably any) radiator- no whining or bearing noise ...  Read More

As a single case fan, not nearly enough air flow.

Both are pwm and remain silent unless my machine is under very heavy load.

Im using the fanexpert pwm profiles from my asus motherboard to modulate the speed so i cannot comment on compatibility with the h100 fan controller

At 100 pwm the fans run at 1370 rpm with a very slight hum if you pay close attention not something you would notice if you are playing a game for example

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

In my testing there is almost no difference less than 12c in temps between 50 pwm and 100 pwm under load

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The extra rpm will not have much of an effect

And as for the other reviewer that said that these fans are 34pretty loud when they ramp up to the full 2300 rpm34 he is mistaken because these fans do not go above 1450 rpm he must be referring to the 34performance edition34 of these fans

I just wish they made some 140mm with pwm for use in my case

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I was looking for pwm fans that were near silent

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

They do not move much air compared to many other fans i have but these generally make quite a bit less noise mostly due to them spinning much slower
