I contemplated replacing it with a newer model but a friend of mine recommended this upgrade so i did it and wow am i satisfied.

No errors with the ram have occurred at all.

It woke the computer up and will now load programs that wouldn’t not load with the 2gb ram before.

I priced the same memory on another site and this price was far cheaper.

Competitiveness

So with this memory and a 250gb ssd my macbook 2010 can now keep up with her then new 2018 macbook air.

I used a small spudger to disconnect the battery connector.

The hard part was getting the old ram out and i used a pair of needlenose pliers to pull them out.
