Got a brand new sealed titanium ax1000 some resemblance to seasonic is clearly visible as i got one for reference though my corsair ax1000 developed a weird fault with its power button thats next to the silent fan mode button

Even stripped it down to clean inside of it after warranty ran out and that was easy too

This is the best psu i ever owned came from a corsair gs600 2009 80plus standard flawless i never had the fan turning on even though i do use more than 600 watt 50 when gaming it will not turn on keeps colder than 50 ºc at 800 watt draw except when i force it on

I dont even have the psu fan running

Its on the passive mode so will only come on when it gets hot but mine barely gets warm

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I cannot see if the fan has ever come on during gaming because i cant see my psu in the hidden part of my case

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The psu still looks brand new not an ounce of dust in there my case dust filters are obviously also helping in this respect but even so it looks like the fan has never needed to come on

On light system loads the fan doesnt spin and so its completely silent
