Price

Amazon prime not so great, you have a 50% percent chance they will meet expectations or the benefits they state for $129.

I’m fully aware that a nice chunk of the price is for aesthetics and i’m ok with that.

Shipping

My computer shipped with 96gb of corsair vengeance ddr5 ram.

Competitiveness

Compared to these dominator titanium ddr45 modules, my vengeance series has a low profile and fits better with my nvidia rtx 4090 gpu.

Corsair went cheap on this compared to dominator platinum.

The premium at the time of this writing is still pretty steep, even compared to higher-end brands.

Still, i might get just a pinch more speed from the vengeance than the dominator, even though it is a less expensive ram kit.

    I am not overclocking anything in my rig but the dominator titatinium is better suited for this task

    First off the ram arrives by itself so the additional heat spreader tops that it can be configured with will have to be purchased separately

    The dimms are also significantly taller than most other ddr5 ram kits such as the corsair vengeance rgb kit i was using previously

    Additionally to my surprise this ram kit not only has the advertised 6000mhz cl30 profile bakedin but it has a 6200mhz profile included as well with only a modest increase in latency timings from cl30 to cl32 if you choose to enable that profile instead

    Furthermore using cpuz i was also able to verify that these dimms also use sk hynix chips which are typically better at being further pushed and overclocked if your cpu and motherboard can support it

    This pattern of performance is about the same in most of the newer more demanding aaa games but older games are about the same or have almost no performance difference compared to my old kit
