The default sound quality is really quite poor to my ears

Sounds a bit like listening with your head underwater everything seems distant and boomy with sounds blurred together

I tried the icue software from corsair but that doesnt seem to offer any useful equalizer settings just some generic even more bass type presets

So i used that to switch on surround sound and then uninstalled it
