The range, fullness and noise level are all very good. Everything sounds crisp and better than the cloud alpha pros.

The fps competition preset sounds good for any application. The other default presets are all either too tinny, or incredibly bass heavy. Great for wargames and fps, and passable for comms.

Comfort is excellent for large ears as the cones surround the ear completely. Grip has loosened as time goes on, though.

I have to keep those tightly wrapped in tape and replace it about once a month as it stretches over time. Made no difference.

It has this static ringing if it is plugged into the usb adapter it comes with. Staticky sounds, regardless of how secure the connection is. Max volume is also very low.

As far as sound quality, the highs aren’t that great and suffer from minor sound distortion.

Price

If the price were a little lower or this went on sale, i think this could be an excellent purchase.

Highly recommend over anything even 2-3x it's price.

Packaging/appearance

The ear pads feel like a high end leather but i couldn’t find any material info on the packaging.

I went through the icue process system many times and never managed to get the headset to sound right.

The packaging is nice, although a bit annoying to get the headset out.

So far we’ve only tested out the ps5.

Competitiveness

Sound was much better than several no-name headsets i've tried.

I really enjoy this headset, but for $80, i think the price-to-performance isn’t on par with some of its competitors.

I use a spudger to tuck it back in but that only lasts a few months.

Instead, you get the locked features that require corsair’s icue software to unlock dolby 7.
