Pros & Cons
Pros
The fan is silent, and the cables are plenty long. It does its job, usually with no noise whatsoever as the fans rarely activate because of how efficiently it operates.
Got a incredible deal on this psu and its worth every penny. Corsair is very efficient and carries a full 10 year warranty on the psu. The only complaint i have with this psu is that the cables are very stiff.
Modular low profile cables for easy installation, less clutter, and helps maximize airflow through your computer's chassis. Braided cables for the mobo and pcie is a nice touch.

Cons
Amazon, corsiar and corsair all had poor customer service. My trust in the brand has been eroded. Doa is never fun but this is not an entry level component.
Psu makes a soft buzzing noise at idle. If i don't have my headset on it's impossible to concentrate. Cable quality is not on par with the price-point of this psu.

Price
Although this is a platinum-certified power supply unit, its price is absolutely fair.
Make sure you check for compatibility for your case this is a big power supply but well worth the price.
I think the price should be a little cheaper but i don't mind.
Competitiveness
The evga supernova 850g i was using is almost 7 years old and had become noisier so i replaced it with this; the corsair hx850.
Albeit a little long compared to other in its class, this psu manages my minor overclocked 12600k, 3080 and ddr4 3600 kit with ease.
The system gaming under load is only around 260 watts running a ryzen 5600x cpu and a radeon 6600 xt graphics card.

Im not disappointed with the power supply but the cables are poorly designed the rigid plastic tube that ends the sleeves is way too long which makes it very difficult to bend the cables to make discreet connections and turn angles
