Pros

This is an amazing buy for the price. Good quality metal. Decent backplate.

This is a product that is very easy, you just disassemble your video card. Purchased this block for a full corsair custom loop. Also, i have an icue commander pro, but this block came with an adapter in the box for the 3pin rgb.

On previous block, ekwb missed lots of parts or had sub premium pads. Plus the cheapest ek block is 225. I bought them out of pure curiosity.

Cons

Corsair is a greedy company that continues to deliver the bare minimum for the highest premium. Even at 170$ its basically a useless waterblock. Take your money and go elsewhere for your cooling needs. What a load of *.

First they have in my opinion perfected rgb with the icue software and make it real easy to set it up as simple or complicated as you like.

Decent enough block but not as high quality as ekwb in my opinion.

The quality of the manufacturing was top notch.

There isn't much contact with the backplate.

The xg7 rgb (rev b) is a perfect fit for my evga 2080 xc (reference) card.

Love the look of this block compared to others in the market.

Beware of evga ftw cards - which are normally longer than reference.

On previous block, ekwb missed lots of parts or had sub premium pads.
