Pros

The radiator is super efficient and there were no air pockets/bubbles/cavitation in my system when i received it. It is a little tricky securing it to the amd4 mounts without messing up the thermal paste.

Each corsair rgb (sp120 in the case) has two cables. One for rgb, one for power/pwm. Only downside is if you want a 3rd one, you have to buy a cors air rgb hub.

Cons

If you care even a little bit about esthetics go with another product. They regurgitate what they have on their script and nothing else.

Fans are stuck at 100%. The radiator fans have the thinnest wires you've ever seen which is semi common but other cooling companies like thermaltake gave their fan wires thicker gauge and molex sheath. The connectors to the core commander ( the rgb an...  Read More

The quietest mode on this thing is the mid range. Even after being completely disconnected from my system it still happens. If it isn't crashing itself it's almost always either frozen, detecting stuff wrong, or straight up lying about software and fi...  Read More

That *, but it's my fault for not noticing. The sad part is that it's almost always going to give you headaches. This is a sign that its indeed going out.

Corsair is now on my do not buy list. H*ll no. Don't buy this trash. Zero help. Zero assistance. No lights and dead.

Quality

Now that i have a modern build, i am genuinely impressed with the mix of cooling performance, aesthetic and build quality of this unit.

Great quality products, i don’t have any negative things to say except for this product.

It's a bit frustrating though as i spent the money for the retrofit kit on corsair website like the product listing mentions.

It’s good at cooling i got a ryzen 5950x and this keeps it under 40 under heavy load but the quality of material is lacking to ...  Read More

Shipping

I returned it and bought it again with overnight shipping, and it came in perfect condition.

Packaging/appearance

The 420mm radiator fits easily on the phanteks 719 case.

I recommend with whatever cooler you do end up going with to do the same to get an even spread with high quality paste.

I ordered the icue h150i elite capellix.

Competitiveness

I have one on a 9900k as well as a 10850k.

The pump is quiet, you won’t hear it once the fans start kicking in and for a 240mm cooler, it’s one of the best.

The thing i hate is the mounting solution that uses the amd am4 plastic bracket and uses two points of contact to pull the cpu ...  Read More

Have run cinebench multicore for over an hr, no core rose above 74c in that long of a test!

So take my review of this product with a grain of salt

Weirdly enough at load however my 11th gen build runs cooler than my 6th gen

Not having my own personal aio experience to draw upon looking at thermal test charts online i was impressed with how good aio products have become when they first were becoming popular they were just about as good as aftermarket air coolers but now they are pulling ahead of air cooling thermal performance

I tried 3 different brands of 240 and 1 360 aio and yes they were cheaper but the performance to price ratio wasn’t worth it for me

The best i tried for bang to buck was the id cooling zoomflow 240 and that one was about a 10 c difference

This aio from corsair mind you was almost double the price but brought the temps down to 5758c

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So if your putting this on an i9 you do not need to pickup a corsair retrofit kit

If you want the best cpu temps possible for cheaper a traditional air cooler tends to outperform closed loops like these and theyre a lot cheaper
