Pros & Cons
Pros
Size and comfort is really big. Fast enough on most games (fps & flight simulator mainly so far) wrist rest is ok too, although easily removed if you don't like it.
The keys are not mechanical, but they have a pretty good feeling to them when pressing down. Absolutely love the macro keys (something it's bafflingly difficult to find on mechanicals) the key feel is quite good and tactile for a rubber dome, allowing... Read More
This is a great keyboard, and when you fork out a ton of money on a keyboard you'd expect no less. For what little info i had, i'm happy i got this keyboard. Definitely better than ordinary £10-20 keyboard.
The backlighting is amazing, and customisable too. Lights very easily controllable, bright colours and nice pallet. Good amounts of options on the backlight.
Cons
Real issues begin when you plug it in. K55 causes problems when other controllers such as a steering wheel or gamepad are connected. I spilt a little coffee (it wasn't that hot) on the bottom right of the keyboard, and while i quickly disconnected it ... Read More
The bad points are the keytops are far away from the base, leaving very large gaps underneath. The keys are loosely fitted over their switches, so they rattle and make loud noises just by touching/tapping and without depressing. Secondly the keys have... Read More

Quality
Easy to set up and use, works perfectly
Yes it's membrane but it feels good quality and i prefer it over overly clicky keyboards which sets off my sensory overload.
I'm coming to respect corsair as a name that means high build quality and excellent design no matter what it is they're making.
I have now bought 2 of this keyboard and the part that fails alot on it is the numlock led.
Price
I got it for a great price and it was definitely worth my money.
This certainly well worth a purchase because it reasonably-priced.
The shifted value is shown below the unshifted value, instead of above.
For the budget pricing that it is, it does not feel like it.
Competitiveness
There may be better options for 50 quid.
I used to have the first version of it which is still like brand new but wanted the second version because of the seperate ligh... Read More

Software to manage the rgb can be a pain and whilst the purple in the pattern is a nice deep vibrant colour when it’s just a solid purple light i can’t get it to that colour instead is a much whiter shade that looks washed out which is a shame

Function wise can’t fault it but it’s key selling point is the rgb imo and that’s a bit lacklustre

Downsidesit is a very large keyboard which wont affect some but if youre lacking desk space like myself it is pretty massive compared to other 100 keyboards
