Pros & Cons
Pros
Rgb is top notch, but there is no on board memory for profiles or macros. Mx speed switch is definitely for gaming though, for writing, i'd get something less sensitive.
Cons
Avoid this rubbish. Overpriced. Very disappointing from a supposedly reputable brand. I would not under any circumstances buy one of these as they are unusable rubbish.
Left shift, and r keycaps have snapped in exactly the same manner. Also comes very loud, the space bar makes a lot of noise. If you don't press them perfectly down on the centre of the keys they are liable to bend and break.
Highlights
Quality
The lighting is top tier, typing on this feels great, and it just feels like an overall quality product.
It isn't very loud which is a plus for me and has great build quality with the brushed metal top plate.

Competitiveness
I'm not a biiiig fan of mechanical keyboard, but this corsair rgb keyboard won me over.
Its got the right clicky noise on the keys, endless customisation options on the icue software.
The icing on the cake is the rgb which is simply beautiful and a doddle to use.

Do not get the cherry viola version those switches are crap and you dont want a low profile keyboard you can get ones with better switches cheaper

The worst part may just be the abs keycaps but they are very easily swappable and i think it is almost a must at some point because these do pick up a lot of fingerprints especially if you tend sweat from your hands a lot

There are two variants the one with the budget viola switches and the one with the premium cherry mx low profile speed switches which is the one i opted for as the viola’s don’t review well

That said you can set a default light pattern that is configurable that will run without the software running so fret not
