These seem to be fairly common issues with this keyboard. Returned and will be looking for a new brand.

You can feel the quality right away on these switches - the actuation is very precise.
Amazing keyboard: solid construction, quality materials, cherry mx silent switches are a dream!
Made it feel kinda cheap, although it may be useful to someone who games with a keyboard.
First of all this new silent board from corsair is not silent.
Price
Cons: price but if you're paying this much for a keyboard you probably won't care once it lit up on your desk!
Competitiveness
I have had many corsair keyboards and of all that i have purchased i preferred the k70 with cherry red switches.
I don't think there are better boards out there than corsair in terms of construction.

Ill point out that the keys depress linearly but theres no tactile click or anything so they actually are 34pressed34 before bottoming out which until you get used to it can be weird
