Pros & Cons
Pros
Love the color options given with the icue software. Only downside, there is a metallic sound when the keys return to their resting position. The corsair one is snazzy too.
Corsair k70 lux is a great hybrid office / gaming keyboard. The lighting is bright and clear, and generally looks excellent. The rgb lighting is nice, i love the software used to control it.
But hopefully the replacement lasts longer. Upgraded from the red led mk. The mk. Is now a mk.
Cons
Some keycaps are broken at the stem, and wobble on the spot. Up arrow key is significantly higher than the down arrow key, creating a ledge that prevents smooth transition between the keys. Have begun to have issues with the esc and left-shift key not... Read More
This is unacceptable for a 160$ keyboard less than 3months into it's life. It handles beautifully but so do a lot of other keyboards for cheaper. Overall feel of it doesn't match the mechanical precision i would expect from a $150 keyboard.
The whole keyboard becomes unresponsive in this state. It just fully disconnects from my computer. Even when i reset the keyboard, it still does the same thing over and over again.
The build of the keyboard is amazing but everything else is done so poorly that it almost doesn't matter. The corsair forum has endless complaints from users but all corsair does is ask for the users pc configuration, claims it's a localized issue wit... Read More
Brown switches are great, but there are some design flaws which negate almost every advantage offered by this keyboard. One of the switches isn't the same as the rest, it's very randomly the seven key? All while my ears get destroyed. The only thing i... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Fantastic key feel, good lighting control, volume/media controls
Excellent quality as always with corsair products.
It’s like the keyboard’s body is hollow, and every time i hit a key it’s like i’m playing a tiny steel drum.
This strikes me as a very odd, boneheaded style decision that really detracts from the keyboard's overall functionality.
Price
Its worth it to spend an extra 10-15 bucks to protect it!
" i could send it back because amazons return policy is thebest but i decided to keep it due to the price.
First off, just want to say that i almost returned this because i could get a "comparable" keyboard for $45.
Eventually you'll figure it out, but for the money some documentation in the box would be great.
Packaging/appearance
"when it arrived i couldn't see any package damage but it had been opened.
Found a deal from amazon warehouse stating, "condition: used - like new - minor package damage observed during inspection.
I searched the rest of the box and found two of them but the f11 key was still mia.
Looking inside i saw that three of the cap keys were missing!
Competitiveness
1 ding against this compared to the lux model is that this has a cheap hard plastic wrist rest.
I found that i made a lot of typing errors on these keyboards when compared to my old logitech g213 keyboard.
) i wish the volume scroll wheel had more resistance, i was going to go with the cheaper rocat vulcan 121 (which i have and als... Read More
Its so much nicer than pretty much all its competitionwith that said my complaints.

But it also only has 1 usb connection to make to your pc instead of 2 like the prior iteration of this keyboard
