Pros & Cons

Pros

The k70 takes barely any, and it is magical. The numpad area is pretty standard, no complaints there. The only complaint is the price.

The keys are audible but not super loud. Cheaper boards use cheaper keycaps - there's nothing wrong with this, but you do feel the difference when you upgrade. These keycaps have a subtle bumpy texture to them, and the keys themselves feel much more s...  Read More

Love the sound roller bar and mute button together. The roller bar has a smooth metal machined feel to it. The feel of the cherry speed switches is something really satisfying to use.

There are a bunch of different dynamic patterns one can set that can light the keyboard like a * xmas tree. There's a brightness button that switches between 5 brightness levels and off.

Cons

The key mapping misfires frequently. To a point it fails to function normally and starts spamming keys. How they can claim millions of keypresses on this, i have no idea.

Software frequently glitches, fails, and hogs resources on the computer. Corsair's godawful software insists it is white when i have red blaring in my face. Rgb is not bright at all as well.

Very disappointed. Be wary. No good. Big mistake. What a disappointment.

The shrill, loud, metal-on-metal ping noise makes this keyboard totally unusable. Maybe a cat clawing at it.

Most of keys (>80%) have those more or less spring pinging noise. The keys are large and clunky with a lot of distance between them and have a plasticy, cheap feel.

Quality

One of the best mechanical keyboards i’ve purchased, the clicks are satisfying and is a great size for my desk.

This keyboard has everything i have wanted on one and the build quality is outstanding.

My old keyboard was a razer blackwidow v2 and the wrist rest on that keyboard had been completely ripped after a few good years of use.

I've been buying k70 keyboards for ~7 years and for some reason this one has a stupidly sensitive spacebar.

Price

Although it’s a bit pricey and takes up considerable desk space, the k70 rgb pro is worth every penny for serious gamers

It's such a good keyboard, definitely worth the price.

Competitiveness

The silver switches are both extremely responsive and quiet, much more than my old razer green (cherry mx blue equivalent).

Compared to my k60 this one sits up significantly higher.

Comparing with the previous model, i can easily tell the hollow sound in the old version.
