Quality
At almost twice the retail of the g710+, i really feel the quality in the build.
It's sensitive and responsive, the colors are bright and vibrant and it's a very high quality product.
It will not brick if you are not forcing updates (custom) or anything of the sort and/or tappering with the keyboard/keyboard software.
Corsair, in my opinion, made a huge mistake not offering blue and green keyswitches with the original k95.

Competitiveness
I ordered my k95 xt with blue switches.
My new k95 xt, thankfully, is free of this hardware problem (experienced by many k95 purchasers), and works flawlessly.
The icue software does not present an intuitive interface and commands.
I have had two of these now, i bought a k95 platinum with speed switches and a k95 platinum xt with blue switches, both by cherry mx.

Anyway of all things to stop working i would not have assumed on a 200 keyboard that the lights would freeze and the keyboard would need to be unplugged for the lights to respond once again

The only reason its not 5 star is becuse you have to relearn where to put your fingers because of the programmable keys
