Pros & Cons
Pros
Corsair's icue software is very well put together compared to other lighting software i've seen. With the software, it becomes an easily-visible indicator for your dpi switching. The pixart pmw3391 optical sensor is another of the outstanding features... Read More
Inexpensive but completely fulfills its function. The katar pro xt also offers versatile customization. One of the standout features is its ambidextrous design and compact shape.
Shape is nice for finger tip and claw. Main resemblance is the parallel side grooves.
Weight of only 73 grams allows a fast and agile movement. I have a habit of frequently lifting my mouse to reposition it a little, and the katar lends itself to that.
Cons
The icue software eats up a lot of my laptop's resources. The mouse wheel makes a weird noise while scrolling. I also hate the lightweight and was trying to specifically avoid a lightweight mouse while shopping.

With high-quality omron switches and a robust build, this mouse is built to withstand heavy use and last a long time.
I bought this one because the old mouse i had randomly broke and the scroll wheel stopped working properly.
My keyboard & headset will not die - they've long outlived my boyfriend's keyboard and headset.
Price
I honestly feel like the advertising kind of undersold how good it is for a $30 mouse.
Overall decent mouse with a great price tag.
Overall the mouse texture doesn't feel bad but definitely something i'd be willing to pay a little more money for.
Competitiveness
Overall if you have big hands like me get the rival 600, one of the best mouses for the price.
This mouse is really comfortable in my hand despite how small it is in comparison to other mice i’ve owned in the past.
The weight is about the same as my old logitech equivalent.
I have corsair mice that offer more functions and are a more expensive.

The cord is really looselight to the feel which might make it less durable over the longterm but makes it easier to maneuver compared to a stiffer cord
