Pros

I enjoy the led's but usually leave them off when not trying to demonstrate nerd cred. Even it’s not rgb, still led on this ram is real “eye candy”.

The original memory in the pc is over 5 yrs old and running like a champ. Memory looks good with my all white case and white asus motherboard.

Cons

X8gb and 2x16g red led kit are very unstable. Corsair has a lifetime warranty on their ram, however with the 2x8gb they require you sending back both sticks of ram even though one is fine to get it covered by warranty.

I run two main systems z170, z270 chipsets with core i7 cpu's.

I bought these for my ryzen cpu and they seem to work excellent.

I remember when 2gb was enough -- for a while 4gb reigned supreme throughout 32bit os's.
