The increase in performance is noticeable. To my surprise it is noticeably faster in actual use. Much faster than comparatively priced competitors.

If you're upgrading from a regular ssd or hd to then pcie is the right choice and this drive is a good balance between price & performance.

How much ventilation your case has. The ambient temperature of your home. The time of year.

Cons

It is a * drive if it breaks in a year, warranty or not.

Quality

I am happy with the corsair nvme but it could be better compared to my sabrant in terms of write speed.

Always prefer corsair products as they are always great quality.

Peak temp was 51c, with the drive averaging 49c over the test.

Easy to install but doesn't come with the screws required

Price

Honestly, it does exactly what it is supposed to at a really nice low price.

Overall this is a very reasonable price point.

Packaging/appearance

Easy to unpack from the packaging provided from corsair.

Decently fast as quoted, appropriate packaging, isn’t an eye sore and all at a good price.

That is what i got; a kingston standard drive that only looks like a nvme drive.

Oh well, at least nvme drives are now cheaper, so upgrading is not expensive anymore… which is where the corsair force series comes in.
