Great value for a gen 4 nvme drive with a nice big cooler on it. My samsung evo 970 plus still wins the write speeds by 1gb/s. The integral heatsink and bottom mounting plate is worth at least the difference in price.

But when using it to transfer multiple large video files from one nvme drive to another it reached full gen 3 readwrite speeds for short periods before slowing to around 2000 mbs for sustained transfers and there was no significant thermal throttling after 10 minutes or so as a poorly cooled nvme drive without aftermarket heatsink would exhibit
