I'm fortunate enough to have a board that supports pcie 4. That's the key arrangement for pcie x4, which this card uses. A great little piece of tech.

This is probably best ssd i have used, its build quality combined with its high speed performance and durability is highly recommended.

Shipping


Almost all ssds have some fast memory to support burst writes, but the pro seems to have pretty fast memory throughout.

Competitiveness


2 nvme pcie x4 gen4 ssd was recently installed on a new build and i can say the speeds are very good.


Corsair rarely disappoints with their products and this mp600 pro 1tb nvme drive is no exception.


The process was a bit fiddly as its a small, delicate-looking and expensive peice of tech.

    By directly accessing your computers pcie bus bypassing the sata controller its likely that the only speed limit you will encounter is the read and write speed of the memory chips themselves
