The leds are extremely bright and the effects and transitions are smooth and pretty.
The fans are extremely quiet even at high rpm and cool my y40 case and components very well!

Yes a little bit pricey but wortg it.

Packaging/appearance
Was purchased for additional airflow in a white corsair 5000d airflow case.
I did hook them all up on the enclosed rgb hub in the two pack.
Competitiveness
Fans don't run as low rpm as my noctuas (set as top exhaust - see pics) but at the same rpm they are very similar in terms of acoustics.

There is only room there for two of the 140s leaving a gap in the middle
