Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a great psu and being fully modular makes installation easy. The 80gold 850w is the perfect wattage for a £1000 gaming setup. It's 100% atx compatible and fit my case with no issues at all.
Everything else is top notch. Anyway it fits lovely. There isn't much to complain about.
Cables come in their own kind of sleeve / braiding which is neat. Comes with enough connectors for a system build. Easy to install, no different from any other modern power supply. Took me a while to realise the 8pin connectors can be split into 2x4.
The fan isn't noticeable while not on high load, it's barely noticeable. Modular was good to only use the cables i needed to squeeze into a small case for my micro atx build.
Highlights
Quality
Works perfectly, very happy with the item
The build quality is premium as your would expect from corsair.
The quality of the black braided cables that came with it are excellent.
Price
The price was a bargain at £98 however as of writing this review 05/11/2022 (dd/mm/yyyy) to price is £115.
Packaging/appearance
The product itself was fine, came on time had a load of cables all white to match the psu but the packaging was poor.
Competitiveness
Using this for my build with a 4070ti, ryzen 7 5800x and a b550 strix wi-fi ii motherboard.
Has more than enough connectivity for the highest spec'd system.
I had to upgrade a 850w to this one to run a 3090.

As its a more budget option relative to most psus in this wattage most of the cables are not braided and so dont look pretty but if you manage your cables properly you wont see them for the most part anyway
