Pros

Desktop ps is a fully modular power supply. Great for future-proofing your amd builds. It's a great upgrade over a non-modular thermaltake psu.

Modular cabling design, cable ties, high-quality box to protect in shipping. Bought this power supply with a corsair case and it's been working flawlessly.

Cons

Sparks and burning smell after first installation. Too late to return, my fault for not installing it immediately. Buy a tester first.

Never did foinf the type 5 conections for the psu side. Same thing for the motherboard power cable. This psu got infected by the infamous nvidia power connector design flaw.

They only use 6 of the pins going to a 6-pin connector with a 2-pin jumper. Even if you buy the premium individually sleeved cable via corsair, they only supply you with one sata quad cable. The problem is if you have a high end gpu, you cannot use th... Read More
