Pros

Modular cabling design, cable ties, high-quality box to protect in shipping. The cables seem to be high quality and were not overly stiff. Only downside is the provided cables.

Bought this for my new 4070 * super. Used it with 7800x3d 7900xtx setup. Plenty of power to spare. Corsair is a reliable brand for memory modules.

Desktop ps also supplies power to my schiit modius dac. The 12vhpwr cable on this psu easily clears the case. All corsair products are top of the line. Psu. Corsair.

Cons

Never did foinf the type 5 conections for the psu side. Missing the 24-pin motherboard cable and 2 others with the cpu. All connectors are on the left side of this psu.

The cords are a complete mess. It’s like you barfed up a pile of wires into the box. This is the nail in the coffin for them.

Came perfectly packaged and doesn't make much noise and ive got an i9 and 3090 hooked up and never gets hot.

This power supply help me save money when on sale and it performed better than i thought for 2021 model.

They also use a lot of the same cables for their psu's and it's easy to get replacement parts.

Do not use cables from a different brand.

The rm850x has an a+ on the cultists tier list and an a- from cybenetics.
