This replaces an older model of the same brand and wattage that outlived its warranty by several years.

Desktop ps also supplies power to my schiit modius dac. The 12vhpwr cable on this psu easily clears the case. All corsair products are top of the line. Www. Corsair.

However, the pcie power cable comes with a type 5 8 pin connector and they only use 6 of the pins going to a 6-pin connector with a 2-pin jumper. Same thing for the motherboard power cable.

Never did foinf the type 5 conections for the psu side. This psu got infected by the infamous nvidia power connector design flaw.
