Pros

The modular design makes installation a breeze. It allows me to connect only the necessary cables, minimizing clutter and maximizing airflow.

One of the standout features of the rm850x is its low-noise fan. Zero rpm fan mode ensures complete silence during idle or low-power usage scenarios. My only real gripe is that there is no selection switch for the fan zero-rpm eco mode.

These are just quality psus rated very well from most places, very reliable. I have a ten year old corsair psu in a different computer that's still running strong. These capacitors contribute to the psu's long lifespan and consistent performance.

Cons

Is not compatible with the rm1000 shift. The pcie power cable comes with a type 5 8 pin connector and they only use 6 of the pins going to a 6-pin connector. On their forums they advise against daisy chaining two cables into three connectors.

Dont be like me when i was testing the product in my pc and the fan stopped spinning.

This psu has back side facing outlets and the 5000d case has an the area on the back side completely open.

It's a good value but as long as you get the black version, really no reason to get white if it isn't shown.

The prices for nicely braided cable extensions is a bit much, i would have expected a higher end psu to include them out of the box.

Came with everything for people looking for this

I dont know if the packaging was damaged in shipping or delivery but there was a dent in the box it works fine though.

Came perfectly packaged and doesn't make much noise and ive got an i9 and 3090 hooked up and never gets hot.

Competitiveness

Do not use cables from a different brand.

Had a difficult time figuring out the difference between sata 3 and sata 4.
