Pros & Cons
Pros
No other sfx-l 1000-watt psu on the market for under $300. The only company that could make a better sfx power supply is seasonic. This psu is the go-to for any sff build.
The corsair is quality throughout, caps are rated for higher voltages, solder joints are clean and smooth. Since this is a lenovo computer the device requires an addition cable (listed below) since the lenovo motherboard has a 10 pin connector. This p... Read More
Fan works as it spins briefly on startup.
Cons
This feels like a exhausting cashgrab and has basically spoiled me on the brand. I regret not googling this before buying as many others have mentioned this issue. I'm not up for the gamble. Just stopped working.
It appears that the sockets are misaligned in the housing. Not even a refurbishment, just a direct return. Concerns about correct pin in/out due to poor qc.
Cables are ridiculously short. Cables aren't long enough to reach the connections on a full atx motherboard. This is not a psu for mid-tower builds.
Do not buy this psu for a full sized pc. I tested my pc with an old power supply and everything lit up and booted up as it was supposed to, the problem is entirely the psu.
Highlights
Quality
Nice and quiet, never crashed due to power spikes during gaming or anything.
Building with this power supply was a breeze and provides more than enough power for my rig and protects it against possible surges.
It's been rock solid and has never failed me.
Works perfect but i wish the cords were a little longer it's probably made for a micro build or something doesn't fit well in my mid build

Its a lot cheaper and i read that it works flawlessly with a noctua fan mod because the stock fan is loud for any one looking for a slightly cheaper option
