Modular Design
Customers are highly satisfied with the modular design of the Corsair SF850L power supply, which allows for flexibility and easy cable management by providing interchangeable cables and various connector options.
Quiet Operation
Customers have generally positive opinions about the quiet operation of the Corsair SF850L power supply, with many praising its silent performance at low and medium loads. Some users have reported that the fan turns on during power-intensive workloads but it's not as loud as other power supplies they've used in the past. A small group of customers have experienced issues with their units making unusual noises after a few months of use.
Build Quality
Customers have a generally positive opinion on the build quality of the Corsair SF850L Fully Modular Low-Noise SFX Power Supply. They appreciate its excellent finish, quiet operation, and high versatility. However, some customers mention that the cables provided are chunky for an SFX/ITX build and that the connectors on the PSU side are larger than expected. Despite these minor issues, most customers are happy with their purchase and believe it's a worthwhile investment due to its dependability and peace of mind.

Customers have mixed opinions regarding the cable length of the power supply. While some appreciate the easy cable management with braided cables, others find the stock cables to be too short for their builds, causing inconvenience and requiring additional purchases or extensions.

Price
Purchased 2 of these psu used, both work great, stay silent and cost around $115.

You can order a nice set from corsair for an extra hundred bucks or so.
Yes it cost more initially, but not having fire hazards and not potentially damaging to components -- the peace of mind and dep... Read More
Shipping
However, after contacting corsair directly, they were very helpful and fast in getting an rma done for it.
The shipping was fast and pricing was fair.
Competitiveness
No big deal but if corsair could have made the cable a bit longer than 400mm for better compatibility.
I bought this 750 watt corsair psu to replace a so-called bronze-certified 550 watt "raijintek" psu.
