Pros

The in line audio controls are the only problem i have with corsair headsets. The software works great so far. Without the corsair program, the windows audio mode is perfect. It absolutely beats the razer tiamats 7. The thx surround speakers on my pc.... Read More

The plastic is really sturdy, ear cuffs are a really soft cloth, and with a braided cable to boot. Pads are so comfy and the memory foam makes it even better.

The cord is braided and very flexible. My only complaint is the cord.

Cons

Is a lot of money for something that doesn't last at all. Diy forum bs is exactly that, bs.

Swivel earpieces are nice but don't solve the comfort problem. Not only are the cushions on the ears make you sweat after 15 minutes of wearing this headset.

Two times in 1 year is a little much for me, especially considering it is the same component. Not satisfied. Never again.

Quality

Sound quality i will say is great with 50mm drivers its loud and clear.

Oh the sound quality is great, the construction is good and all that.

The microphone quality is so distorted no one can understand me.

The battery life is horrendous and doesn't last anywhere near the estimated time that corsair says the headset can be used.

Price

You can get this for under a $100 after rebate, and it works great.

I think these are great headphones an ideal in terms of price for performance.

(but i got it on sale for $60, i don't know if i'd buy it now at $105)

For the price you're paying, you're getting a value and durable item that will last for a very long while.

Competitiveness

Secondly this headset is a little more noise cancelling than my old headset a plantronics games on 780.

I constantly went back to using it more then the 1500.

The 1500 is ok but i still recommend the 1300 or the now 1400 over any of the other corsair headsets.
